Position SummaryThe Accounting Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of Norton National by managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with accuracy and care. This role ensures timely invoicing, payments, reconciliations, and record‑keeping while delivering thoughtful support to our clients, vendors, and internal teams.

What You’ll DoAccounts Receivable
- Generate and distribute customer invoices and statements according to established procedures.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies quickly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate customer accounts and payment history records.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to support billing and payment inquiries.
- Stay informed on accounting regulations and best practices related to AR processes.
Accounts Payable
- Receive, review, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and on time.
- Maintain vendor records, payment terms, and tax documentation for national and international partners.
- Prepare and process payments via check, EFT, or approved methods.
- Assist with team member expense report processing and reconciliation.
- Reconcile AP transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor AP aging to ensure timely payments and minimize past‑due balances.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payments, discrepancies, and account updates.
- Generate reports and assist with basic financial analysis.
- Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and supporting documents.
- Support audits, month‑end close, and special projects as needed.
- Ensure adequate supplies are available to complete responsibilities.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of experience in an accounting role.
- Basic understanding of debits, credits, GAAP, and financial statements.
- Experience with accounting software such as Quick Books, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
- Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
Knowledge
- Basic accounting principles and general ledger concepts.
- Accounts payable and receivable workflows.
- Regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately.
- Clear written and verbal communication.

- Office‑based role with occasional travel to and from client project sites.

Compensation: $16.00 – $18.00 / hr DOE
