Accounting Manager

Vaco is seeking an Accounting Manager in Las Vegas, Nevada!

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and internal policies
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and performance feedback
• Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiency

• 5+ years of experience including formal leadership (required)
• Experience in construction or related industries, with a deep understanding of job costing, revenue recognition, etc.
• Degree in Finance or Accounting (required)
• Ability to own the month end close process
• Ability to go on site 5 days a week
• Salary $110-120k plus bonus

• Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 plus bonus.
