Staff Accountant
Las Vegas, NV | $70,000 – $85,000
Vaco has partnered with a growing home services organization to hire a Staff Accountant for its Las Vegas accounting team. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional looking to grow their career in a fast‑paced, multi‑entity environment. You'll gain direct exposure to accounting leadership, play a key role in month‑end close and financial reporting, and contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities- Prepare and post journal entries during the month‑end close process
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and intercompany accounts
- Assist with financial reporting, variance analysis, and audit preparation
- Partner with accounting and operations teams to ensure accurate financial records
- Support system enhancements, automation projects, and process improvements
- 3+ years of accounting experience with exposure to general ledger accounting
- Experience with month‑end close and account reconciliations
- ERP experience (Sage Intacct, Net Suite, or similar preferred)
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and lookup functions
