Senior Tax Associate

Our client is continuing to invest in its Private Client Services practice and is seeking a Tax Senior who enjoys a collaborative, in-office environment, meaningful client exposure, and the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected platform.

• Review and prepare complex federal and multi-state tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, and S corporations
• Manage a workload consisting of approximately 70% review and 30% preparation responsibilities
• Work primarily with flow-through entities, representing approximately 80% of the client base
• Identify tax planning opportunities and provide proactive recommendations to clients
• Research technical tax issues and prepare supporting documentation
• Communicate directly with clients and internal team members regarding tax matters
• Mentor and assist less experienced staff members
• Stay current on tax law developments impacting private clients and closely held businesses

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA license or progress toward certification preferred
• Minimum of 3+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Strong experience with partnerships, S corporations, and high-net-worth individual taxation
• Experience reviewing tax returns and supervising staff work
• Knowledge of multi-state taxation and flow-through entity taxation
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
