Cage, Poker, table games, slots, race and sports book. Reconciles accounts on a regular basis. Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures. This is an ENTRY LEVEL position that would be best for someone who is just starting a career in Accounting. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company's brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P.
- Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity). Responsibilities Complete daily audits assigned and in accordance with regulations and company policy/guidelines. Additional audit tasks as needed. Investigate and resolve accounting variations. Preparing monthly and quarterly journal entries. Perform other duties as assigned. Record business transactions. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, the Revenue Audit Clerk must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Beginner / Intermediate personal computer skills including Microsoft Office. Ability to operate a 10 key calculator by touch or sight. Attention to detail. Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-intensity environment. Good math & communication skills. Critical thinker.
On the job training provided. Must be able to obtain Nevada gaming card. At least 21 years of age. High school diploma or GED. Some college courses in accounting or in a related field is preferred. 1 year revenue audit experience preferred. Must possess basic mathematical skills including: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to Revenue Audit Clerk duties and responsibilities. Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.
