Berkley & Berkley CPAs, LLC, a full-service CPA firm located in Las Vegas, NV, provides a wide range of tax, bookkeeping, payroll and CFO-level advisory services to a diverse roster of clients including privately held businesses and business owners. We're currently seeking a dedicated self-starter with 4+ years of recent public accounting experience to lead tax and accounting engagements.

Responsibilities
  • Tax Services – Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership and trust tax returns.
  • Accounting Services – Lead engagements throughout all phases of accounting including tax research, projections and analysis, financial statement preparation, payroll and bookkeeping.
  • Staff Review & Coaching – Develop, review and elevate the work of junior staff.
  • Client Services - Build client relationships and work collaboratively with clients.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 4+ years of recent public accounting tax experience
  • Ability to identify tax savings strategies and communicate complex tax issues into simple language for clients and staff
  • Quick learner with strong communication, organizational, analytical, client service, leadership and PC skills including MS Excel, Quick Books and accounting software proficiency (Lacerte and Canopy software proficiency are both a plus)
  • Attention to detail with the ability to professionally lead engagements, effectively interact with clients and staff at all levels and juggle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Construction industry experience is a plus
