Mixware is a growing national distributor serving the professional DJ, lighting, music production, and audio markets. We represent several respected brands and supply dealers throughout the United States.

As our company continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant who wants to take ownership of the accounting function and become an important member of our management team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a growing entrepreneurial business where decisions are made quickly and your work has a direct impact on the company s success.

You ll be responsible for managing the company s accounting operations from day-to-day transactions through monthly financial reporting.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Perform monthly and year-end close
• Prepare monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
• Maintain inventory accounting and cost of goods sold
• Monitor cash flow and assist with forecasting
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Coordinate with our outside CPA for year-end tax preparation
• Support budgeting and financial analysis
• Improve accounting procedures and internal controls

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Experience managing the complete accounting cycle
• Strong understanding of financial statements
• Quick Books proficiency required (ERP experience is a plus)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience in distribution, wholesale, inventory, manufacturing, or importing is highly preferred
• Self-starter who enjoys taking ownership and solving problems
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
