Senior Tax Manager
An established and profitable CPA firm in Las Vegas, NV is in search of an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join their growing tax team. This is a unique chance for a seasoned public accounting professional seeking a leadership role with a clear route to Partnership.

ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Tax Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, provide technical guidance, mentor staff, and collaborate with firm leadership to expand the practice.
Main duties:
- Review and approve complex tax returns for various entities.
- Manage client relationships and act as the primary advisor.
- Lead tax planning and compliance engagements.
- Stay updated on tax laws, research and resolve tax issues, and manage tax examinations.
- Oversee engagement planning, staffing, budgeting, and client communication.
- Mentor and develop tax professionals, recruit new team members, and evaluate tax technology.
- Collaborate on strategic initiatives, client development, and business growth.
- Build relationships in the business community and identify new business opportunities.
- Active CPA license in good standing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, Master’s degree preferred.
- Seven or more years of public accounting tax experience.
- Expertise in managing tax engagements and providing tax planning.
- Experience representing clients before tax authorities.
- Prior experience supervising tax professionals.
- Strong tax research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with tax software.
- Excellent communication, client management, and leadership skills.
