We’re looking for an Accounting Specialist who knows the numbers, catches the details, and helps keep the financial side of the business running smoothly.
In this role, you’ll support accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, collections, job costing, financial recordkeeping, and month-end activities. You’ll work closely with the Finance team to keep information accurate, resolve discrepancies, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
We’re also looking for someone who is AI-curious—comfortable exploring new tools and finding smarter, more efficient ways to work.
What You’ll Do- Process invoices, expense reports, and credit card reconciliations accurately and on time.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payments and account inquiries.
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable balances.
- Support collections efforts and follow up on outstanding customer balances.
- Enter high-volume credit card receipts and job cost information.
- Maintain accurate financial records, spreadsheets, and deferred revenue tracking.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Research and resolve financial discrepancies and irregularities.
- Provide general accounting and administrative support as needed.
- Minimum of two years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related experience.
- Experience with Quick Books Advanced is required.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience with job costing or project-based accounting is a plus.
