Staff Accountant

As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of a growing organization. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience across multiple accounting functions, allowing you to build a well‑rounded career while contributing to the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of the company's financial processes.

You will collaborate closely with the Finance team and other departments, supporting business operations through accurate financial reporting, process improvements, and timely execution of accounting activities. We are looking for someone who is proactive, eager to learn, detail‑oriented, and motivated to grow professionally in a dynamic environment.

• Prepare and post journal entries while maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger.
• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations.
• Support and execute month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice processing and vendor payments.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), customer invoicing, and payment tracking.
• Reconcile corporate credit card transactions and review employee expense reports.
• Assist with payroll processing and related accounting activities.
• Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and asset transactions.
• Support inventory accounting and inventory reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and management reporting.
• Assist with annual audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and increase operational efficiency.
• Provide support to other accounting and administrative functions as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, and general ledger processes.
• Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and month‑end close.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, Pivot Tables, lookup functions, sorting, filtering, and data analysis.
• Experience working with ERP or accounting software;
  Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment.

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, Expense Point, or similar ERP and expense management systems.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, distribution, or the gaming industry.
• Experience with inventory accounting, fixed assets, or payroll processes.
