The Tone:This is a full-time role for a Staff Accountant at Ultimate Fighting Championship, which operates under TKO Group Holdings, Inc., a premium sports and entertainment company. While supporting the UFC, the broader TKO entity owns iconic properties including WWE and P , alongside the newly launched Zuffa Boxing promotion, and engages in sports marketing through IMG and experiential hospitality via On Location.
This collective reaches 1 billion households globally and organizes over 500 live events annually. This crucial position is responsible for executing fundamental accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP) and internal policies. The Staff Accountant’s diligent work directly underpins the financial health and operational oversight of a dynamic global sports and entertainment enterprise.

To accurately maintain financial data, prepare journal entries, perform comprehensive reconciliations, and support internal controls for the organization’s financial operations. - Tech Stack: JD Edwards, Hubble, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook
- Financial Data Integrity:
Maintain comprehensive accounting data and ensure its accuracy in strict accordance with department policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP). - General Ledger Management & Reconciliation:
Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger for assigned business segments, reconcile general ledger balance sheet accounts, and manage receivables and deferred revenue for designated areas. - Cash and Revenue Management:
Perform monthly bank reconciliations for high volume, high dollar operating accounts, and accurately record revenue for contract-based segments, including event settlement revenues and expenses. - Internal Controls Support:
Assist in the preparation of monthly reporting as required by the Accounting Manager, and contribute to maintaining an effective system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recording of fixed assets and other transactions.
- Background:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience. Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of core accounting principles and practices. - Experience:
1-3 years of dedicated experience in a finance and/or accounting role, including practical experience with various accounting systems and a demonstrated high degree of proficiency in data entry functions. - Skills:
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting, solid knowledge of standard accounting practices, effective written and verbal communication abilities, and excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. - Bonus:
Advanced coursework in finance is preferred, alongside working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook for daily operational tasks.
