Experienced Bookkeeper - Real Estate & Construction

Job Description

KLA Capital is currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. This is primarily a part-time position with flexible hours, although we are open to a full-time arrangement for the right candidate.

KLA Capital is a Las Vegas-based real estate investment, development, and property management company with a large portfolio of residential and commercial properties. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper who can accurately maintain financial records across multiple properties and business entities.

A strong working knowledge of Quick Books and GAAP is required. This position involves a high volume of daily transactions, and accuracy in categorizing income and expenses is extremely important.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple companies and properties
• Obtain and organize primary financial data for accounting records
• Accurately categorize daily income and expenses
• Record and reconcile bank and credit card transactions
• Perform regular account and bank reconciliations
• Review transactions for accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records
• Compute and record financial data
• Perform data entry and related administrative duties
• Prepare quarterly disbursement and financial reports
• Maintain organized supporting documentation for transactions
• Assist ownership and management with bookkeeping and financial reporting as needed
• Coordinate with our CPA and other financial professionals when necessary

Qualifications:

• Previous bookkeeping, accounting, finance, or related experience
• Strong proficiency with Quick Books
• Working knowledge of GAAP
• Experience handling bookkeeping for multiple companies, properties, or accounts preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
• Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills
• Ability to meet deadlines consistently
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of transactions
• Real estate, property management, or construction accounting experience is a plus
