Taiga Building Products is hiring a full-time, permanent Administrative Assistant for our Paradise, NL branch, reporting to the Branch Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

* Open and distribute mail and other materials

* Plan and control budget and expenditures

* Plan and organize daily operations

* Determine and establish office procedures and routines

* Schedule and confirm appointments

* Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages

* Answer electronic enquiries

* Compile data, statistics and other information

* Order office supplies and maintain inventory

* Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems

* Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents

* Perform data entry

* Provide customer service

* Work with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field

* Maintain and manage digital database

* Perform basic bookkeeping tasks

* Administrative and office activities

* Verify accuracy and completeness of data

* Assess client's needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services

* Organize tasks to accomplish the work

* Manage accounts payable

* Document and prepare invoices and work orders.

* Coordinate the flow of information within the team
