Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, the Administrative Coordinator provides executive operational support and manages the office and its executive operations. The Coordinator handles communications, scheduling, meeting preparation, event design and execution, information management, and other administrative tasks that ensure efficient day‑to‑day operations. The role requires analytical and critical thinking, multitasking, and effective communication to support the Senior Vice Provost and related academic service units.
The Coordinator will provide accurate, timely information, manage deadlines, and deliver outstanding customer service to campus colleagues, prospective and current students, alumni, community partners, donors, sponsors, vendor partners, employers, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
• Manage Office operations and coordinate executive needs
• Oversee communications, scheduling, meeting and event logistics
• Provide information management and administrative support to the Senior Vice Provost and related units
• Develop and implement office policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate records, databases, and reports
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a high‑level or executive office, collaborating to manage projects and initiatives
- Valid Nevada driver’s license
- Successful background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience in higher education or educational outreach
- Training in management, leadership, and business writing
- Experience with Workday and/or Archibus
