Front Desk Receptionist
Pay: $14-$17 per hour depending on experience
Position OverviewAs a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the front office welcoming face of our practice and play an essential role in creating a positive and seamless patient experience. This is our front office entry-level opportunity ideal for someone who is friendly, organized, and eager to grow within a fast-paced dental environment.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and assist patients with a warm and professional demeanor
- Answer multi-line phone systems and respond to patient inquiries
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate patient records
- Manage emails and front office communication
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to support smooth patient flow
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong customer service experience in reception, retail, hospitality, or similar roles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic administrative skills including scheduling, data entry, and phone handling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with Dentrix or similar systems is a plus
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and multitasking ability
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented mindset
- Previous dental or healthcare experience preferred but not required
- Entry-level candidates with strong customer service backgrounds are encouraged to apply
- Friendly, outgoing, and patient-focused
- Eager to learn and grow within the dental field
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with frequent patient interaction
- Reliable, adaptable, and a strong team player
- Flexibility to support varying schedules, including evenings or weekends based on office needs
