What We Do
The Associate Escrow Assistant provides support to the Escrow department by assisting with customer service and administrative duties related to escrow closings. This role primarily focuses on residential transactions and may support a team or partner with an escrow officer.
What You’ll Do- Perform routine administrative duties to assist in the escrow process.
- Answer phones, greet customers, place calls, and follow up on information needed for escrow closings.
- In smaller escrow/branch offices, perform some receptionist duties.
- Process opening orders, initial file set up, deposit and distribution of funds.
- Create written transmittals for funds and documents, handle reconveyances, pre-closing maintenance, and post-closing follow-up on assigned files.
- Experience with MS Office suite.
- Strong customer service orientation and detail orientation.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task, be organized and work in a hectic and time-sensitive environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience dealing with the general public or office environment preferred.
Hourly: $16.07 - $21.41 (base pay)
