Zucker Jewish Academy of Las Vegas Administrative Assistant
Join the Zucker Jewish Academy of Las Vegas team as an Administrative Assistant and play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our school. As a valued member of our staff, you will provide exceptional administrative support to our senior leaders, teachers, and staff, ensuring the smooth running of our office and maintaining a positive and productive environment.
Responsibilities Administrative & Office Support- Support the daily administrative operations of the school.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for parents, staff, and visitors.
- Maintain student, parent, and school records and databases.
- Coordinate school-wide communications, forms, and documentation.
- Assist with arrival, dismissal, carline, and other daily operational procedures.
- Support front office functions and help ensure a welcoming and organized environment.
- Maintain compliance-related records and documentation.
- Assist with licensing, audits, inspections, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate staff fingerprinting, background checks, and required documentation.
- Ensure student and staff records remain current, organized, and compliant.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of school policies and procedures.
- Provide basic student support, including first aid, medication logs, and health-related documentation.
- Maintain student health records and emergency information.
- Support student supervision and behavior documentation as needed.
- Communicate with families regarding attendance, student needs, and school procedures.
- Coordinate ordering and inventory of school supplies and materials.
- Assist with purchasing, vendor communication, and operational logistics.
- Collect and organize receipts, invoices, and financial documentation.
- Support campus maintenance requests and vendor scheduling.
- Coordinate meeting logistics, materials, and room setup.
- Support school events, programs, field trips, and special activities.
- Assist with staff appreciation initiatives and community‑building efforts.
- Provide administrative support to school leadership.
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and shared spaces.
- Assist with special projects and school-wide initiatives.
- Support the implementation of systems that improve efficiency and organization.
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven administrative experience
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time‑management skills and multitasking ability
- Aptitude for learning new software and systems
- Comfortable handling confidential information
- Team‑player attitude
Skills and Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent
- Previous success in office management
- Experience managing budgets and expenses
- Experience developing internal processes and filing systems
