Administrative Specialist Positions
The Clark County Department of Aviation (DOA) is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Administrative Specialist positions in our Security division. This position performs paraprofessional level administrative, operational, procedural, programmatic and/or budgetary related analysis, and support for the DOA security division. Additionally, this position supports the division with administrative violations/investigations, video management review and investigation. Further, this position provides assistance with the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Security Seal and Signatory program.
Administrative Specialist (Badge Signatory):
The Administrative Specialist Badge Signatory position is responsible for performing administrative duties in support of the Department of Aviation divisions. This position provides assistance with the CBP Security Seal and Signatory programs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to tracking, maintaining, evaluating reports, processing CBP applications and Signatory requests for the Department of Aviation, and providing customer service as a point of contact for both internal and external customers.
Administrative Specialist (CCTV, Violations, Special Events):
The Administrative Specialist CCTV supports the division with administrative violations/investigations, video management review and investigation.
This is a departmental recruitment opportunity and is open only to full-time permanent employees of the Clark County Department of Aviation who have successfully completed their probationary period. This examination will establish a Departmental Eligibility list to fill current and/or future vacancies that may occur within the next three (3) months or may be extended as needed by Employee Services.

Minimum RequirementsEducation and Experience:
Equivalent to an Associate's Degree with major course work in business or public administration or a related field, AND three (3) years of full-time office administrative, secretarial or technical experience related to the work of the functional unit. Possession of a four-year college degree AND prior lead or supervisory experience are desirable. Professional level experience and/or education that has provided the skills and knowledge necessary to perform all job functions at this level may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Specified positions may require possession of a valid Nevada Class C driver's license at time of hire. Pre-Employment Drug Testing:

Permanent employees must maintain a principal place of residency within the boundaries of Clark County and provide proof of compliance with Nevada motor vehicle registration and drivers' license laws within 90 days of employment. Citizenship:

Employment with the Department of Aviation is contingent upon completion of an education/experience background investigation, a fingerprint-based criminal history record check processed by the FBI, and upon the ability to be granted and maintain a security badge as mandated by the Transportation Security Administration.

Employment with the Department of Aviation in this job title is contingent upon a ten year employment and five year residency history record check and the ability to present original identity based documentation in order to meet the requirements for a Security Seal.
