Job Title: Administrative Assistant 3, School of Nursing

Job DescriptionThe Administrative Assistant 3 supports undergraduate and graduate nursing programs by communicating with students, faculty, and the UNLV community. The position manages documents and records, assists with admissions, graduation paperwork, orientation, and campus events, and performs general clerical duties.
Key Responsibilities- Assist students from admission to graduation and ensure timely filing of required paperwork.
- Manage undergraduate contract signings, faculty evaluations, and minutes for program-level meetings.
- Track and update student information in the E
* Value and Salesforce databases. - Coordinate paperwork and notifications for Undergraduate & Graduate Nursing Orientation.
- Assist with graduation and recognition ceremonies.
- Maintain files and student correspondence; support selected faculty and staff.
- High‑school graduation or equivalent with a minimum of three years of progressively responsible work experience, including experience in:
- Complex records and file maintenance;
- Public/customer relations (explaining policies, regulations, and requirements);
- Processing financial and statistical documents (payroll, travel, claims, budgeting forms);
- Assisting staff and management with projects and activities.
- Alternatively, one year as an Administrative Assistant II in Nevada state service.
- Or a comparable combination of education and experience.

1. Salary: $46,207.44 per year.
