Teacher Assistant – Ascension Academy

Position Type:
Full-time Work Experience (through EmployNV Youth Hub). All candidates considered after program eligibility is determined. Applicant must be 18 years or older to apply.

Salary: $13.00 hourly.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist parents, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and emails.
• Maintain student records, including attendance, registration forms, and emergency contacts.
• Assist with the registration and enrollment process.
• Collect payments for tuition, fees, and programs.
• Prepare reports, newsletters, and other documents.
• Order and maintain office supplies.
• Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings.
• Provide general administrative support to the director and other staff members.
