This role is well suited for an early- to mid-career procurement or supply chain professional who has experience supporting equipment and materials sourcing in industrial environments. What You’ll Do:
  • Support and execute category strategies for equipment, MRO, and materials that enable day-to-day operations and capital projects
  • Lead sourcing activities including supplier identification, competitive bidding, negotiations, and contract execution for assigned categories
  • Partner closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Planning teams to forecast demand and support production and project requirements
  • Analyze supplier markets, cost drivers, and technical requirements to support informed sourcing decisions
  • Build cost models, total cost of ownership analyses, and business cases to support category decisions
  • Support supplier performance management through scorecards, reviews, and corrective actions
  • Assist with contract development and work with Legal to align on commercial terms and risk allocation
  • Help identify and mitigate supply risks through alternate sourcing strategies and contingency planning
  • Maintain accurate supplier, pricing, and contract data within ERP and procurement systems
  • Prepare category updates, performance metrics, and sourcing summaries for leadership and stakeholders
What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline
  • 2–5 years of experience in procurement, category management, strategic sourcing, or supply chain roles
  • Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, mining, or heavy-industrial environments
  • Exposure to equipment, MRO, or materials sourcing is strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, including spend analysis, cost modeling, and supplier evaluation
  • Working knowledge of ERP or procurement systems (SAP or similar)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced operational environments

In return, you’ll join a growing industrial organization where sourcing decisions directly impact operations and long-term performance. The role offers meaningful ownership, exposure to complex supply chains, and a competitive compensation and benefits package.
