We are seeking a proactive and organized Conference Business Development Intern to support our CEO during the JCtrans USA Conference 2026. The intern will assist with meeting coordination, lead management, networking support, note-taking, and post-meeting follow-ups.
This role is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in logistics, supply chain, international trade, business development, or marketing.
Responsibilities Before the Conference- Research participating freight forwarders and logistics companies.
- Prepare company profiles and meeting briefs.
- Organize attendee contact information.
- Assist with appointment scheduling and confirmations.
- Manage meeting schedules and reminders.
- Accompany the CEO during networking sessions.
- Take structured meeting notes.
- Collect and organize business cards and contact details.
- Record action items and partnership opportunities.
- Capture photos and short videos for Linked In and company marketing.
- Maintain a lead tracking spreadsheet or CRM.
- Organize meeting notes and lead information.
- Assist in preparing follow-up emails.
- Update CRM records.
- Prepare a conference summary report.
- Student or recent graduate in:
- Supply Chain Management
- Logistics
- International Business
- Marketing
- Business Administration
- Strong English communication skills.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Linked In.
- Professional appearance and networking confidence.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced conference environment.
- Knowledge of freight forwarding or international trade.
- Experience attending trade shows, conferences, or networking events.
- Familiarity with CRM tools.
- Direct exposure to international logistics and freight forwarding.
- Networking opportunities with global freight forwarders.
- Hands-on experience in business development and B2B relationship management.
- Mentorship from the CEO of a logistics company with over 60 years of industry experience.
- Paid internship (to be discussed based on experience).
- Conference access provided.
