POSITION OVERVIEW
The Business Transformation Director is responsible for leading the organization’s workforce planning through labor efficiency and workforce optimization. This role will lead cross-functional initiatives to drive operational excellence, improve labor productivity, and enhance financial performance through data-driven insights and transformation strategies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Develop and execute initiatives to optimize labor spend, improve workforce productivity, and align labor investments with business goals.
- Partner with property operators to define and maintain labor standards and performance metrics for each role, ensuring accuracy and alignment with operational goals
- Leverage advanced analytics, labor modeling, and benchmarking to identify trends, forecast needs, and support strategic workforce planning
- Prepare thoughtful and timely analysis of labor management techniques, including performance metrics, scheduling, deployment, and staffing optimization
- Design and manage a transformation roadmap focused on labor cost optimization, automation opportunities, and process reengineering
- Establish KPIs and dashboards to track labor efficiency, productivity, and ROI of transformation initiatives
- Lead operators through workforce planning for the annual budget and monthly forecasts;
Collaborate with the Director of FP&A and Chief Strategy Officer to compile final projections and recommendations - Maintain a comprehensive reporting package that tracks forecast accuracy, analyzes business trends, and evaluates departmental labor performance
- Act as a non-voting member and liaison to the Compensation Committee, providing financial and operational impact analysis for agenda items
- Evaluate labor implications of new business initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance guest service, streamline operations, and reduce inefficiencies
- Provide regular updates and ad-hoc analysis to the Executive Team on labor performance and strategic workforce initiatives
- Assess departmental workflows to identify improvement opportunities;
Lead automation work streams to replace manual processes and increase efficiency. - Analyze historical labor trends and business drivers to project future staffing needs
- Collaborate with department leaders to align labor plans with operational goals and service standards
- Identify gaps between forecasted and actual labor usage and recommend corrective actions to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Support scenario planning to evaluate the labor impact of business changes, seasonality, or special events, ensuring proactive staffing strategies

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum three (3) years in FP&A, business transformation, or operational strategy, with a strong focus on labor efficiency
- Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; experience with tools like Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan, or similar
- Advanced understanding of best practices, industry trends, gaming terminology, and emerging technologies in the labor management space
- Strong operational knowledge within the Hospitality and/or Gaming industry
- Strong project management experience and process improvement
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Ability to gather, synthesize and analyze data and draw logical conclusions
