POSITION SUMMARY:
The YMCA of Southern Nevada is looking for a site coordinator for our Sage before and after school program. You will participate in day-to-day programming of off-site after school programs, as well as homework assistance, academic enrichment, and family engagement events. You will lead staff to ensure high program quality of curriculum. This position requires high energy, enthusiasm for YMCA's mission, and flexibility.
This is a part time in person position running weekdays from 2:45pm-6:00pm. Schools are located near the Heinrich YMCA. RESPONSIBILITES:
Ensures proper implementation of the YMCA of Southern Nevada's Youth Development policies and procedures for self and staff;
Maintains a safe and secure site location with established emergency procedures;
Creating a positive, achievement-oriented, organized, and engaging environment;
Develop and maintain positive relationships with participants, staff, and community partners. Supervise and oversee staff and participants;
Plans and implements fun and engaging activities;
Performs all other duties as assigned. ABUSE RISK MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONS:
1. Adheres to policies related to boundaries with children.
2. Attends required abuse risk management training.
3. Reports suspicious or inappropriate behaviors and policy violations.
4. Follows mandated abuse reporting requirements.
5. Adheres to job specific abuse risk management responsibilities. WHY WORK HERE?
