Construction Superintendent – K-12 / Public Works

Location: Las Vegas, NV

Compensation: $125,000 – $160,000 base salary (DOE)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead K-12 and Public Works construction projects throughout the Las Vegas area. This role is responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract documents and public agency requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, deep knowledge of public-sector construction, and the ability to coordinate effectively with owners, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal project teams.

• Manage day-to-day on-site construction operations from project start through closeout
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, labor crews, and field personnel
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, schedules, and safety standards
• Enforce OSHA and company safety policies; lead site safety meetings
• Coordinate inspections with school districts, municipalities, and governing agencies
• Maintain accurate daily reports, schedules, and site documentation
• Collaborate with Project Managers on scheduling, budgeting, and change management
• Resolve field issues, constructability challenges, and schedule conflicts proactively
• Maintain high-quality workmanship and adherence to public works standards

• 4+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, preferably in K-12 and/or Public Works projects
• Proven experience working with school districts, municipalities, or other public agencies
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, and safety practices
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with construction technology (Procore or similar preferred)
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work on-site in Las Vegas, NV

• Competitive base salary: $125,000 – $160,000, depending on experience
