Organizational Level: Reports directly to Vice President. Works collectively with superintendents and office staff.
Job Performance:
- Must have thorough product knowledge and understanding of specification reading.
- Conducts online drawing take-offs (blue prints) as well as field take offs (for reroof projects), creates estimates, write proposals and bids.
- Responsible for accuracy and management of projects to attain cost and profitability goals.
- Responsible for successful completion of the project, not just for sales.
- Works directly with customers and field supers in the execution of the project.
- Must have great communication skills.
- Represents company at sales functions and public relations opportunities.
Requirements
- Knowledge, skill, and ability in sales, estimating, and project management principles, project accounting, roofing industry knowledge, and people skills.
- Degree is not required, but some college level training is preferred.
- Knowledge of office software including excel, word, blue beam and adobe acrobat.
$70,000 - $80,000/yr
