Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a CMS Site Supervisor II for a top commercial and industrial construction client. This individual will oversee large-scale construction site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The role is highly hands‑on and requires strong leadership in coordinating subcontractors, resolving site challenges, and maintaining strict safety and quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional who thrives in fast‑paced, high‑visibility project environments and is comfortable traveling to support major installations.
Day‑to‑Day- Oversee total construction effort to ensure projects stay within scope, budget, and schedule
- Supervise onsite activities for large construction projects
- Coordinate Johnson Controls work with other site contractors
- Manage all subcontractor work for schedule, quality, and design compliance
- Conduct daily site inspections to ensure customer satisfaction
- Provide regular progress updates and variance analysis inputs
- Perform regular job walks and update job progress digitally
- Act as the project safety program coordinator
- Resolve site conflicts and sequencing issues
- Identify and mitigate project risks with the Project Manager
- Support development and execution of project recovery plans
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements and internal policies
- Verify subcontractors maintain adequate staffing levels

- Associate degree
- 5–10 years of direct project coordination and site supervision experience
- Commercial and/or industrial building construction background
- Experience supervising large, complex construction projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous site activities
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and site sequencing
- Strong understanding of construction safety programs
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 100%
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Comfortable working in a Windows‑based environment Experience on major or large‑scale projects
- Prior experience acting as a site safety coordinator
- Familiarity with document control standards on large construction projects
- Experience using tablets (iPad, Surface) for field reporting
- Knowledge of Visio and Adobe Writer
- Background working with multi‑trade subcontractors
