Essential Responsibilities- Perform a variety of general labor tasks to support heavy civil construction, working closely with heavy equipment operators in congested or tight areas to ensure efficient site preparation.
- Assist with tasks such as trenching, material handling, cutting and cueing conduit piping.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with crew members, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Promote a culture of safety and productivity by following all company, client, and regulatory safety standards and procedures.
- One year of prior experience working in a mining, utilities, or earthworks environment as a laborer; a background as a track hoe or skid‑steer operator is preferred.
- Proactive and independent self‑starter who is safety‑focused.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety practices; OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a pre‑access drug and alcohol test and provide a valid driver’s license.
- Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3 pm, 8 hours per day. Overtime rates apply after 40 hours per week and could be available at the discretion of the client.
- Living‑out allowance provided to those who are eligible.
