The Construction Superintendent will oversee daily on-site operations for commercial and residential construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This full‑time, on‑site role is based in Las Vegas, NV and involves coordinating subcontractors and vendors, managing inspections, and verifying that all work meets plans, specifications, and quality standards. The Superintendent will conduct regular site walks, monitor construction progress, and proactively resolve field issues to minimize delays and rework.
Responsibilities include enforcing safety procedures, maintaining accurate project documentation, and communicating clearly with project managers, design teams, and clients. The role also involves participating in project planning meetings, supporting scheduling and logistics, and representing Mignone Design‑Build professionally on the job site.
- Candidates should possess strong Construction Site Management skills, including on‑site supervision, trade coordination, and quality control.
- Candidates should possess solid Construction Safety knowledge, including OSHA standards, job site safety enforcement, and incident prevention.
- Candidates should possess effective Project Management and Budgeting skills to support scheduling, cost control, and resource planning.
- Candidates should possess strong Organization Skills, including documentation, reporting, and maintaining detailed project records.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience as a Construction Superintendent or foreperson, familiarity with commercial and tenant improvement projects, and knowledge of local building codes and inspection processes.
- Relevant experience with reading and interpreting construction drawings, use of project management and scheduling software (Procore), and basic computer proficiency is required.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities, capacity to build positive relationships with trades and clients, and a commitment to safety and high-quality work are essential.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; an associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field, or equivalent military or trade experience, is a plus.
