Senior Drywall Estimator

An established and growing specialty contractor is seeking a Senior Drywall Estimator to join its preconstruction team in Las Vegas. This individual will play a key role in pursuing and securing commercial construction projects while partnering closely with operations, project management, and executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete and accurate estimates for commercial drywall, framing, ceilings, and related scopes.
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop detailed cost analyses.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Identify potential project risks, value engineering opportunities, and scope gaps.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client presentations as required.
• Collaborate with project managers and field leadership during project turnover.
• Maintain relationships with general contractors, owners, architects, and vendors.
• Assist in developing bid strategies to maximize competitiveness and profitability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of estimating experience within drywall and interior systems construction.
• Strong knowledge of commercial metal framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, and related finishes.
• Demonstrated success estimating large-scale commercial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, or similar estimating software.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with healthcare, hospitality, education, gaming, mixed-use, or large commercial projects.
• Familiarity with the Las Vegas construction market.
• Established relationships with local contractors and suppliers.
