Electrical Project Executive

A nationally recognized electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead a portfolio of complex commercial electrical construction projects while developing high-performing project teams and driving operational excellence.

This executive-level leadership position is responsible for overseeing multiple projects, ensuring financial success, strengthening client partnerships, and mentoring Project Managers to deliver exceptional results across every phase of construction.

• Provide executive oversight for multiple commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Drive financial performance through forecasting, cost control, risk management, and operational planning.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers, Project Engineers, and project support staff.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and key project stakeholders.
• Partner with operations and field leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Oversee contract administration, procurement strategy, change order negotiations, and project execution.
• Review project health, identify potential risks, and implement proactive solutions to protect project performance.
• Support business development efforts by strengthening existing client relationships and contributing to future project opportunities.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on staffing, resource planning, and operational strategy across multiple projects.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development.

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within commercial electrical construction.
• Proven success managing multiple large-scale electrical construction projects and leading high-performing project teams.
• Strong understanding of project financials, forecasting, budgeting, contract administration, scheduling, and risk management.
• Experience managing complex projects across commercial, mission critical, healthcare, industrial, manufacturing, or institutional markets.
• Demonstrated ability to build lasting client relationships and successfully lead project teams through all phases of construction.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods, project delivery, and field operations.

• Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license is a plus.
• Experience with Design-Build, CMAR, or other collaborative project delivery methods.
