The Project Superintendent – Public Works oversees daily field operations for public works projects in Las Vegas, NV. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for coordinating crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. The position includes managing site logistics, enforcing safety standards, monitoring quality control, and ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and local regulations.

The superintendent communicates regularly with project managers, inspectors, and clients, prepares daily reports, tracks progress, and assists with resolving field issues. The role also involves supporting scheduling, reviewing plans, participating in jobsite meetings, and promoting a culture of teamwork and safety.

• Supervisory skills and experience leading construction crews in the field
• Background in commercial construction and public works infrastructure projects
• Quality control capabilities, including reading plans and verifying work against specifications
• Construction safety knowledge, including OSHA standards and jobsite safety enforcement
• Budgeting and cost control skills related to labor, materials, and project resources
• Ability to coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors effectively
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with basic construction software and digital reporting tools
