** Construction Managers with previous experience focused on Water and Waste Water Projects** . In this role,
** you'll help to build and lead a strong team of multi-disciplined individuals supporting a major water/waste water project in Southern Nevada.*
* ** Job Overview:*
* + The Construction Manager will work on behalf of Parsons and the client with responsibilities including:
+ Overseeing the pre-construction and construction services for CMAR, Design-Build, and Design-Bid-Build contracts
+ Oversees establishment of the Construction Management Plan, Site Specific Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required.
+ Inspection - The selected candidate will have experience in and will be expected to supervise inspectors on assigned projects.
+ Lead pre-construction activities by coordinating with agency stakeholders, designers, utility owners, regulatory agencies, and alternative delivery contractors to establish project scope, budget, schedule, risk management strategies, and procurement objectives.
+ Supervise the work of testing subcontractors.
+ Coordinates the drafting of requisitions, subcontract scopes of work, amendments, and task orders.
+ Evaluate contractor cost estimates, Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) proposals, design packages, value engineering recommendations, and change proposals to verify accuracy, completeness, and alignment with agency objectives and available funding.
+ Monitor project schedules and phasing plans, identifying potential impacts to critical path activities and implementing corrective actions to maintain milestone commitments and minimize disruptions to agency operations and the public.
+ Safety - Establish safety and emergency procedures. Inspect the construction site weekly with the contractor's safety representative.
+ Oversee construction activities by managing contractor performance related to safety, quality assurance, environmental compliance, labor compliance, permits, inspections, and adherence to contract requirements.
+ Coordinate and facilitate meetings among contractors, designers, agency leadership, third-party stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to resolve issues, maintain alignment, and support successful project delivery.
+ Review and analyze project risks throughout the project lifecycle, developing mitigation strategies and recommendations to address budget, schedule, technical, utility, right-of-way, and construction challenges.
+ Administer contract processes including change orders, claims avoidance and resolution, requests for information (RFIs), submittals, progress payments, and contingency management while maintaining comprehensive project documentation and reporting.

* PE or CCM preferred Major water / wastewater infrastructure project experience strongly preferred. Experience delivering projects using alternative delivery methods

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a construction related field 15+ years of construction management experience with related projects 10+ years of experience managing projects for public agencies
Demonstrated experience managing projects with construction values exceeding **$100 million*
