Senior Electrical Estimator

Work Environment:

Primarily Office-Based

Monday-Friday, Typical 40–45 hour work week, with additional hours during peak bid periods

Experience with multifamily, commercial, residential, or other ground-up construction preferred

• Prepare accurate and competitive electrical estimates for multi-family projects.
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing analysis.
• Collaborate with project managers, operations teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Analyze project risks, labor requirements, and material costs.
• Participate in bid reviews and estimate presentations.
• Help ensure bids align with company goals, project requirements, and profitability targets.

• 7+ years of electrical estimating experience; 10+ years preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, installation methods, and industry standards.
• Experience estimating ground-up commercial, multifamily, residential, industrial, or institutional projects.
• Experience with electrical estimating software such as Accubid, McCormick, Con Est, or similar platforms.
• Ability to independently develop accurate estimates, perform takeoffs, solicit subcontractor/vendor pricing, and participate in bid reviews.
• Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.

• Journeyman or Master Electrician background.
• Previous field experience in electrical construction.
• Experience with projects ranging from $1M+.
• Accubid experience.
