About

The Role

The Senior Artist is responsible for leading the visual execution of game content by creating, reviewing, and elevating high-quality visual assets that support the design, development, and production of gaming products. This role contributes across the full game development lifecycle and plays a key role in shaping visual quality, consistency, and execution standards. The Senior Artist works closely with cross-functional partners and provides creative guidance to other artists while remaining hands-on in production.

This role is expected to balance creative excellence, execution speed, and accountability in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the visual execution for assigned game themes, features, or initiatives from concept through production.
  • Create and deliver high quality graphics, animations, and visual assets that meet creative, technical, and production standards.
  • Translate creative direction, game concepts, and branding guidelines into cohesive, production ready visual experiences.
  • Provide creative guidance, feedback, and informal mentorship to other artists to support quality and consistency.
  • Review visual assets for quality, accuracy, and alignment with brand and creative standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Game Design, Engineering, Product, and leadership to ensure visual feasibility and alignment.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, art services, and production partners to support execution and quality control.
  • Anticipate creative or production risks and proactively adjust approach to meet timelines and quality expectations.
  • Track and document project status, approvals, and deliverables across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Maintain organized, secure, and production ready asset libraries and archives.
  • Ensure all visual work meets approval, compliance, and quality requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Other artists benefit from guidance, feedback, and shared best practices.

  • The Senior Artist is trusted as a subject matter expert and quality steward for visual execution.
What You’ll Bring
  • 8+ years of professional experience as an Artist or Graphic Designer, preferably within the gaming or entertainment industry.
  • Advanced portfolio demonstrating ownership of complex visual work across multiple formats and game themes.
  • Expert proficiency in industrystandard creative tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling, branding systems, and production ready design.
  • Proven ability to lead visual execution while remaining handson in asset creation.
  • Strong judgment in balancing creative quality, scope, and deadlines.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance to peers.
  • High level of professionalism, accountability, and reliability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have
  • Advanced experience with motion graphics or video production.
  • Strong working knowledge of 3D software such as 3ds Max, Maya, or similar tools.
  • Experience rigging and animating with Esoteric Spine.
  • Experience supporting or influencing art pipelines and workflows.
  • Experience working in regulated, high compliance, or manufacturing adjacent environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
