Job Description

General Summary Of Duties:

The Senior Digital Designer is responsible for assisting in the creative/design execution of the Westgate Resorts’ while forming/adhering to the branding guidelines. The successful candidate will oversee selected projects while under the Advertising Project Managers’ guidance. This person should be detail oriented and creative, with excellent organizational skills and above all, must be a team player and should be able to multitask and perform under pressure.

and Responsibilities (Includes but is not limited to the following)
  • Maintain the overall vision and marketing design strategy in support of Westgate’s business objectives
  • Serve as a designer responsible for the creation and production of high-quality B2C projects which includes, but is not limited to: emails, landing pages, cross-channel marketing campaigns, digital banners, social media, infographics, logos, websites and other marketing collateral.
  • Interpret marketing briefs and stakeholder objectives into design work that is on brand and meets business goals
  • Communicate effectively and deliver projects on time
  • Effectively understands web, mobile, video and email design standards and best practices and ads and print.
  • Aids ongoing education of team members on technologies and facilitates learning of new technologies and SOP’s that enable continuous improvement of outputs.
  • Ability to communicate concepts through sketches, wireframes, visual comps and interactive prototypes
  • Collaborate with Advertising Project Manager to streamline project process.
  • Job includes excessive standing, sitting and walking the property.
  • Maintain vendors relationships for site inspections and also work with Digital Display content and troubleshooting. Pick up and deliveries of collateral. Quality control.
  • Other duties assigned.
Performance Requirements (Knowledge, skills and abilities)
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
  • After Effects and Premiere experience required
  • Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS is a plus, but not required
  • Digital Portfolio that demonstrates the candidate’s design abilities is required
  • Advanced Understanding of typography, page layout, color, hierarchy
  • Familiarity with a CMS
  • Ability multi-task and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment a must
  • Ability to problem solve and pay meticulous attention to detail a must
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively determine and interpret property departmental needs
  • Expertise in digital and print communication is mandatory.
Additional Information Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 + years of experience in digital design Design/ Print design
Education Requirements:
  • BA/BS preferred
