Overview

Introduction Gallagher is looking for Benefits Customer Service Representatives. Our Customer Service Representatives are responsible for taking calls from our members who will need help evaluating their benefit options and you’ll advise them on optimizing their employee benefit use. There is no outbound or cold calling. There is no license requirement and this is purely a customer service role with no sales, so we are looking for customer-centric individuals who can advise employees to ensure they are choosing the best options available to them.

  • This is an In-Office position located at 777 N Rainbow Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89107. Hybrid after 3 months.
  • Pay: $18/hr
  • Shifts will be between 5am and 6pm PST Monday to Friday. (9 hour shift with 1 hour lunch between those hours)
How You ll Make An Impact
  • Our representatives work with members and internal teams, providing exemplary support and assisting with company benefit plan selection as well as eligibility and claims issues.
  • You will deliver high-quality client service consistent with Gallagher standards and practices and manage relationships with existing clients.
  • Our members will need help evaluating their benefit options, and you ll advise them on optimizing their employee benefit use.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers, providers, and third-party administrators to resolve claim and eligibility concerns for clients.
About You

Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent;
  • Minimum 3 years related experience.
  • Ability to work overtime as business need requires.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a strong knowledge of carrier claims processing and billing procedures.

Preferred:

  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Prior customer service and/or employee benefits experience highly desirable.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) is beneficial.
  • Current Life, Accident & Health Resident State Insurance License or ability to successfully obtain license within 3 months of hire date.

  • Ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to client members/customers in a clear and concise manner.

The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
