Overview
It is the responsibility of the 24K Club Ambassador to provide slot customers with specialized, personal attention and to promote new guest members to 24 KT Club, and assist with tournaments, slot focused events and other functions related to Special Events. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company’s brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P.
- Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).
- Meets and greets customers, explains club benefits and enrolls new members, takes reservations (in person or over the telephone) for rooms, event shows, meals, etc.
- Provides exceptional guest service; exhibits strong interpersonal skills while interacting with customers.
- Receives, counts and redeems tickets for customers and issues appropriate script for same.
- Corresponds with customers regarding inquiries and complaints.
- Establishes rapport with new customers.
- Maintains booth in an orderly fashion.
- Walks the casino floor promoting and signing up new members of the 24KT Club.
- Handles all aspects of tournament events, including all monies (collection/disbursement), all registration and processing documents, coordination of all session activity and finalizing all tournament results.
- Greets slot customers at check‑in/check‑out, airport or any event.
- Participates in slot special events as needed.
- Assists with tournament registration, events, and promotions.
- Maintains a very positive customer relationship with all tournament and event customers.
- Acts as a “goodwill ambassador” for the Golden Nugget when dealing with all customers and guests.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested.
- Reconciles RSVP and registration lists.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Experience in special events or marketing in a hospitality/casino environment.
- Good communication, computer skills, typing, 10 key.
- Good telephone skills.
- Excellent public relations skills.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications preferred.
- Minimum age requirement is 21.
- Minimum two years experience in casino or slot marketing, preferred.
- Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
- Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
