DescriptionThe Lee Canyon Guest Services Associate I is a versatile and customer-focused team member dedicated to providing exceptional service to guests. This role combines the responsibilities of processing transactions, assisting customers with purchases, and delivering a positive experience in both retail and service environments. The ideal candidate is personable, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about helping guests while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, building rapport, and assisting with inquiries about products, services, ski areas, and current conditions.
- Process transactions on the sales point inside Retail, as well as being able to print day passes, season passes, and scenic lift tickets.
- Help customers activate pre-purchased products and explain product offerings, pricing, and promotions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in both the guest services and retail areas.
- Show enthusiasm for learning about and suggesting products that align with customers' needs.
- Balance the cash drawer accurately and communicate clearly with guests, team members, and management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and enhance the guest experience.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Capability to perform physical activities such as bending at the waist, squatting, kneeling, climbing, carrying, reaching, and stooping.
- Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to over a distance of 50 yards.
- Must be able to push, pull, and maneuver items as needed.
- Willingness to work in outdoor environments, including in temperatures below 32°F.
