Dental Hygienist

Oak Grove Dental Care is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Location:

1950 West Craig Road, Las Vegas, Nevada 89032.

Work Schedule:

Monday 7:30am-5pm, Tuesday 6:30am-5pm, Wednesday 9:30am-7pm, Thursday 7:30am-5pm.

1 doctor practice, utilizing Dentrix.

60 minute recare, 90 minute new patient appointment.

Bi-weekly hourly pay with the option to opt into Daily Pay for earned paychecks.

Ability to earn daily and quarterly bonuses.

Equipment:
Arestin, iTero, Velscope. Continuing Education coverage available.

Full-time hours are a minimum of 30 to receive the full benefits package, including United Healthcare PPO Health Care. Paid holidays, 401k, dental, vision, wellness benefits, and more.

Hygienists in CT, MD, NC, NV, and WA work for a supported professional corporation (PC) and are not employed by Heartland Dental.

• Current dental hygienist license in Nevada and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation.
• CPR certification.

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems.
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of dental health.
• Clinical needs as required by the office.

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
• Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
• A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. The test will be arranged during the pre‑employment process and must be completed prior to starting employment. Not applicable in FL & TN.
