Position Overview:We are looking for anArchitectural Drafterwith an enthusiastic attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for design to join our growing studio. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of relevant experience and demonstrate strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, and Photoshop. This role involves producing accurate and detailed drawings, adhering to office and industry standards, and supporting Job Captains and Project Managers in managing project schedules, budgets, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and revise architectural drawings and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD while maintaining office and industry standards.
  • Create detailed technical drawings, including plans, elevations, and sections, based on project specifications.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure that drawings align with the project’s overall objectives.
  • Draft and model efficiently, with a focus on accuracy, completeness, neatness, and compliance with codes and standards.
  • Implement revisions and redlines accurately, including thorough back-checking against markup sets.
  • Ensure that drawings comply with building codes, ADA requirements, and other regulatory standards.
  • Maintain and organize project files and drawing sets, following office protocols for production, file storage, and project organization.
  • Participate in project coordination meetings and communicate effectively with the project team.
  • Assist in resolving design and technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support the delivery of high-quality, fully coordinated design and construction documentation, meeting project requirements and deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ yearsof experience in architectural drafting, with proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with Sketch Up and Photoshop is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of architectural drafting standards, construction processes, and building codes.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field preferred).
