Senior Interior Design Lead

Klai Juba Wald Architecture + Interiors is seeking a highly talented Senior Interior Design Lead to join our award‑winning Interiors studio. This role is ideal for a creative and strategic designer with a passion for hospitality and entertainment environments and a proven ability to guide projects from concept through completion. As a Senior Interior Design Lead, you will help shape the design vision for world‑class hospitality, gaming, entertainment, and mixed‑use projects while mentoring team members and collaborating closely with clients, consultants, and project teams.

• Lead interior design efforts across all phases of a project, from concept development through construction administration.
• Establish and communicate the creative vision for projects while ensuring design excellence and quality.
• Oversee design presentations, material palettes, finish selections, and documentation.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, consultants, and internal teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Mentor and support junior designers and foster a collaborative studio culture.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations, building strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure project schedules, design intent, and deliverables are maintained.

• Degree in Interior Design or related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in hospitality, gaming, or commercial interior design.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical expertise.
• Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and presentation software.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction documentation, detailing, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• NCIDQ certification and/or professional registration preferred.
