Job Summary
The Job Captain will support the role on architectural and interior architectural projects.

Duties/ Responsibilities
- Produce complete sets of construction documents
- Oversee support staff to ensure work is executed accurately
- Coordinate construction documents with specifications indicating design intent
- Coordinate with consultants, contractor, and owner
- Assist on code research
- Support in processing RFIs and submittals
- Assist in reviewing shop drawings
- Lead project-related meetings and discussions
- Provide mentorship and be able to direct work to team members
- Execute construction detailing and documentation
- Actively participate in company initiatives
Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Revit (recent experience)
- Proficient in Model Building Codes & Accessibility Standards
- Ability to think critically, communicate clearly and possess the potential to develop management skills
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving capabilities, prioritization, organization and follow through
- Agility and flexibility. Must be a team player that can handle multiple tasks
- Desire to work on all phases of a project through construction completion
- Understanding of Bluebeam
- Working in both Imperial and Metric
- Bachelors of Architecture, Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design
- 5+ years of experience required
