Job Summary

The Job Captain will support the role on architectural and interior architectural projects.

• Produce complete sets of construction documents
• Oversee support staff to ensure work is executed accurately
• Coordinate construction documents with specifications indicating design intent
• Coordinate with consultants, contractor, and owner
• Assist on code research
• Support in processing RFIs and submittals
• Assist in reviewing shop drawings
• Lead project-related meetings and discussions
• Provide mentorship and be able to direct work to team members
• Execute construction detailing and documentation
• Actively participate in company initiatives

• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Proficiency in Revit (recent experience)
• Proficient in Model Building Codes & Accessibility Standards
• Ability to think critically, communicate clearly and possess the potential to develop management skills
• Strong verbal and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving capabilities, prioritization, organization and follow through
• Agility and flexibility. Must be a team player that can handle multiple tasks
• Desire to work on all phases of a project through construction completion

• Understanding of Bluebeam
• Working in both Imperial and Metric

• Bachelors of Architecture, Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• 5+ years of experience required
