We are seeking a detail-oriented Landscape Drafter/Design Assistant proficient in AutoCAD (and preferably Structure Studios design software) to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating crew documents for the installation team in the field and HOA documents for submittal on behalf of our clients, and assisting sales/designers as needed. You will be part of an interconnected administration team that works together to get landscape installation (design/build) projects underway efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities- Create HOA documents (to scale plans) for submittal on behalf of our clients. Review CC&Rs prior to creating document.
- Create crew documents (to scale plans) to give to the Project Managers at initial walk through with sales/designer.
- Asist landscape sales and design team with design process.
- Design work in Structure Studios as sales/designer directs. This could be just bones of the design to the complete design with sales/designer making revisions.
- Administrative tasks, such as sending thank you and next steps emails and/or texts, design fly through videos/screenshots, design process email. This aspect of assisting will be specifically with our lead designer.
- Do client site visits to obtain measurements / meet with subcontractors / meet with designers as needed.
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD. Structure Studios proficiency is preferred, but training will be available for Structure Studios.
