Preservation Architect - Las Vegas

As a Preservation Architect at our company in Las Vegas USA you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures Your main goal will be to ensure that these buildings maintain their original character while also meeting modern safety and functionality standards

Your duties as a Preservation Architect will include conducting research on the history and significance of a building assessing its condition and developing plans for restoration or renovation You will also work closely with construction teams and contractors to oversee the implementation of these plans

To be successful in this role you should have a degree in architecture or a related field as well as experience in historic preservation projects You must have a strong understanding of building materials and construction techniques from different time periods as well as knowledge of preservation laws and regulations Excellent communication skills are essential for this position as you will be collaborating with various stakeholders including property owners government agencies and community groups Attention to detail is also crucial to ensure that the integrity of historic structures is maintained throughout the restoration process
