Work Schedule:
Normal schedule is 8-10 hours between 7:30am - 4:30pm, Mon - Fri with one-hour lunch

Practice Specific Details and Tasks:

  • Perform a full range of physician services in accordance with privileges granted by the MTF.
  • Direct, perform, or assist in the instruction of other health care professionals within
  • the scope of the clinical privileges or responsibilities.
  • Examine, diagnose, treat or prescribe courses of treatment within the scope of training, experience, and privileges.
  • Provide preventive and health maintenance care, including annual physicals, positive health behaviors, and self-care skills through education and counseling.
  • Order diagnostic tests as applicable as well as request consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as indicated.
  • Technically proficient in directing and teaching other medical staff, providing educational lectures, and participating in the provision of in-service training to clinic staff members. Such direction and interaction will adhere to Government and professional clinical standards and accepted clinical protocols
  • Perform as a principal treating physician to technically direct a multidisciplinary team, coordinating care with other health care providers and providing consultative services pursuant to optimal health care delivery to the patient suffering from pain.
  • Provide chronic comprehensive medical and advanced interventional pain treatments to patients with complex pain conditions including consultation, management, monitoring, evaluation, and treatment.
  • Participate in an on-site designated Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes (ECHO) telementoring training program.
  • Provide tele-mentoring, tele-medicine, and tele-consults.
  • Minimum Qualifications:

Degree/

Education:

MD or DO;
Successful completion of 12 months of full-time training in a Pain Medicine fellowship program accredited by Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).

  • Experience: Possess two years of clinical work experience within the preceding five years providing pain management services to patients with complex pain conditions.

Licensure: Active/clear license to practice as a physician from Florida

  • DEA: Current and active DEA certification

Clinical Board Certification: Possess and maintain a current Board Certification in the HCW s primary specialty of Anesthesiology, Psychiatry, Neurology, or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (aka Physiatry) from their nationally recognized American Board of Medical Specialties or the American Osteopathic Association.
Life Support

Certifications:

BLS/ACLS
Security: Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.
