About This RoleAs an Endocrinologist you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will focus on the endocrine system, including metabolism, growth, and mood. Manage conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal insufficiency, and reproductive hormone imbalances.
Position Highlights- Ability to participate in clinical service line expansion projects
- Collaborative team approach to decision making
- In‑clinic testing/diagnostic availability:
- HbA1c testing with a result within 7 minutes
- Dexcom CGM Pro placement & monitoring
- Bone health and calcium metabolism management – infusion/injection therapy
- Endocrine suppression & stimulation testing, including Cosyntropin stimulation tests
- RN clinical support
- Partnership with CDE and RD for clinic visits
- Rx refill task support
- Strong Medical Director leadership/support
- Quarterly all Endo provider meetings
- Quarterly medical director & provider check‑ins

Compensation- Annual base: $305,000
- Productivity: $54.31/wRUV over 2900 wRVUs per 6 mo.
- Quality incentive: $10,000 per year
- Relocation:
Up to $20,000 for those who qualify - Starting bonus: $30,000
- Residency stipend: up to $36,000 ($1,500 per month until fellowship completion)
- Sign‑on bonus included in base
- MD or DO from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school
- Residency training in Internal Medicine
- Board certification or eligibility in Endocrinology
- Active, unobstructed Nevada medical license, or ability to obtain one
- Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or ability to obtain one
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
