** This position requires a
** Bachelor’s Degree
** from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
** and*
* ** 5 years of comparable experience in an academic environment.
** Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
* Competence and sensitivity in working with individuals who are highly diverse regarding many facets of identity, including but not limited to gender, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, ability, income, level of educational attainment, and religion.
* Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues and problems while providing excellent customer service
* Minimum of one year of supervisory experience
* Strong organizational skills with experience managing complex projects, prioritizing tasks, and working autonomously to handle multiple projects and responsibilities effectively
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze information, identify needs and formulate solutions
* Familiarity with the mission and services of academic institutions
* Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
* Ability to exercise sound judgment and to exercise complete discretion in the management of confidential information
* Ability to develop and cultivate strong and collaborative relationships within the library and institution
* Excellent working knowledge of computer programs such as Excel, Word, and Google Workspace
