Job Description

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Campus Visit Coordinator, UNLV Enrollment Management, Campus Relations and Visitor Experience [R0150561]. The Campus Visit Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the university’s recruitment and enrollment objectives by planning, coordinating, and executing all aspects of the campus visit experience. This includes managing individual and group tours, hosting specialized visit programs, and coordinating outreach initiatives designed to attract and engage prospective students and their families.

The coordinator recruits, trains, and supervises a dynamic team of student tour guides and front desk staff, ensuring they are prepared to deliver exceptional customer service, accurate information, and a welcoming atmosphere. They work closely with academic colleges, student services, and community partners to design and implement visit experiences that highlight the university’s programs, culture, resources, and commitment to student success.

Additionally, the coordinator regularly assesses and refines visit programs using feedback and data to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of campus visits, contributing directly to the institution’s goals around access, inclusion, yield, and enrollment growth. The coordinator also serves as the lead for the Glitter Squad, a high-energy student team focused on providing spirited support and hospitality at major admissions events.

In this role, the coordinator oversees recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance, ensuring the squad enhances the visitor experience through enthusiasm, school pride, and personalized interactions. The coordinator also plays a key role in event support by partnering with the Assistant Director of Events and Programs to plan and execute high-impact recruitment and yield events, including open houses, college partner programs, major exploration events, and more.

In addition, the coordinator assists with call campaigns and outreach efforts to support Enrollment Management areas, helping to communicate important information and encourage prospective students to take next steps in the admissions process. This position requires flexibility, including evening and weekend work to support Saturday tours, special visit programs and events. All positions in Academic Affairs contribute to our core mission: to increase enrollment and promote equitable student success.
