Position Summary

The Principal serves as the instructional and operational leader of the assigned Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas (CASLV) campus. This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality teaching and learning, fostering a positive school climate, supervising staff, managing campus operations, and promoting strong relationships with students, families, and the community. The Principal plays a key role in advancing CASLV's mission, academic excellence, and organizational values.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of instructional programs and curriculum.
• Supervise and evaluate teachers and staff to ensure high-quality instruction, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe school climate that supports students' success and belonging.
• Oversee daily school operations, including scheduling, facilities, discipline processes, and safety procedures.
• Analyze school data to guide decision-making and improve academic outcomes.
• Develop and implement school goals aligned with CASLV's mission, strategic plan, and performance requirements.
• Engage families and the community through strong communication, events, and outreach efforts.
• Manage school budgets, resources, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Lead staff meetings, professional development, and collaborative planning processes.
• Work closely with district leadership to support organizational initiatives and reporting.
• Ensure adherence to school policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

Required:

• Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field.
• Nevada administrative license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of successful teaching experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of curriculum, instruction, assessment, and school operations.

Preferred:

• Experience in charter school settings or multi-site school organizations.
• Experience supervising staff or serving in an administrative role.
• Knowledge of data-driven instructional practices.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of successful experience as a school principal or assistant principal
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities.

Work Environment

The Principal works in a school campus environment with daily interaction with students, families, faculty, and staff. The position requires frequent use of computers and school systems, occasional evening or weekend events, and responsiveness to urgent or emergent situations. The role may involve extended periods of standing, walking, or supervising activities.
